President Obama Ignores Student’s Question About Israel’s Human Rights Violations

Just posting this for future reference.

Reposting for obvious reasons.

quick! someone post pictures of Obama smiling with some kids to distract from his policies mangling and maiming other kids!

also, fuck the people who booed the student’s question and then proceeded to cheer and clap when he said “Israel is one of the US’s strongest allies.” fuck them all.

Bloomberg Backs Romney. That’s what the headline that links to Fox News’ article about Bloomberg’s Obama endorsement says. Apparently, they’ve officially given up.

Eastwooding hit Laramie today, with one of my classmates talking to an empty chair before class. To be fair, I think he was high or on a bluetooth headset. Or both.

Well, you know, Andrea, there’s no delicate way to put this, but he lied. He blatantly lied, and brazenly. A number of different things have been fact checked by members of the media, independent fact checkers… Facts are powerful things. We didn’t hear many of them last night.

Hmmm. I’m pretty sure Michael Jordan is best known for something else…
[Update: Yes. Yes it’s real.]

Wtf is wrong with fox

WHAT the hell????? And I wasn’t aware Carmelo Anthony was an anti-police activist as well. Huh.

OK so obviously this is offensive on many levels. But the worst thing, to me, as a Chicagoan who lived in Chicago when the Greatest Basketball Team In The History Of Ever was repeating the threepeat, MICHAEL JORDAN IS NOT A FAILED BASEBALL PLAYER! And I wasn’t familiar with Carmelo Anthony, but according to Wikipedia, he’s also an NBA player who’s won MVP, Most Outstanding Player, and a bronze medal in the god damn Olympics.
And yeah. Being the president. Of the United States of America. Is pretty interesting. I would love to know what event Fox News went to where the POTUS was the seventh-most-interesting person in the room. And he’s humble about it! He said he only ranks in the top 5 or 6 when he goes places! He’s the president!
Aaaand love the use of “glad-handed” as a verb. Hey, how did they describe Mittens’ many many fundraisers? Let’s see:
“Soon-to-be Republican nominee Mitt Romney is now pummeling Obama when it comes to fundraising.”
“Romney is raking it in from big donors and from grass-roots activists online, giving him three consecutive months of taking in more than $100 million.”
Yeahhhhhhh thought so guys.

He did try to be a baseball player. And failed. So, not untrue.

Putting Romney’s tax returns in presidential context

The controversy over what’s hiding in Mitt Romney’s unreleased tax returns continues.  But even without the missing filings, putting his 2010 and 2011 tax numbers in context is strikingly informative. It dramatically shows what an outlier Romney is on a few basic tax and income dimensions.

POTUS looks like he’s in an Usher video.

I started singing “Burn” like a mothafucka. Not even sorry.

These pictures give me feelings.

Can this be an actual music video pls.

Like, I want the Obama campaign to release an Obama ad where he just sings deep ass music about the economy and the struggle while the world rains on him.

Hawaii Trolls Arizona’s Presidential Birth Certificate-Seeking Secretary of State

Hawaii is apparently so sick of people asking for proof of President Obama’s birth, that they’ve turned the tables on Arizona’s secretary of state, demanding that he’s the one who has to prove he deserves to see it.
Ken Bennett (pictured) has made headlines in the last few days for suggesting that Obama may not be on the ballot in Arizona this November without some solid proof that the President was actually born in Hawaii. Bennett, who says he’s just trying satisfy questions raised by his state’s citizens, has made several phone calls and written inquiries to Hawaii’s health department asking for “verification,” but has yet to get his answer, mostly because state officials are giving him the run around. Which is a nice way of saying he’s being clowned.
Talking Points Memo got ahold of some of the emails and they reveal some epic trolling on the part of Hawaii’s Deputy Attorney General Jill Nagamine. After Bennett sent an itemized list of all the information he wants verified, Nagamine responded with an even longer list of Hawaii statutes that spell out how they don’t give that information to just anyone and asking under what authority does Bennett thinks he’s entitled to the information.
